The converted version is where we add nuts and bolts so they can have mega fuses fitted. This makes it the same as a lynx distributor but without the extra cost of the PCB that you pay extra for in the lynx distributor.

The difference between the lynx power-in and distributor are both essential components in a Victron energy system, but they serve different purposes. The power-in is a busbar that connects batteries to a central bus bar, while the distributor is a fuse holder and busbar system that protects each DC circuit with a mega fuse. The distributor also includes individual mega fuse holders per output, providing fuse protection and monitoring, whereas the power-in does not include integrated fusing. The distributor supports M8 bolts for circuit-level connections, while the power-in often uses M10 for heavy-duty DC busbar connections.
